FAQ
What is a realtone?
A realtone is the latest evolution of the ringtone, offering crispy clear sounds direct to your mobile. A realtone is also known as a mastertone or truetone. Realtones are typically encoded in MP3, AAC or WMV formats.
Why can’t I hear my mosquito tone?
Oh… that probably means you’re no longer a child. Mosquito ringtones are designed to be only heard by children, hence their popularity amongst this age group. As we get older, our ears can no longer hear those high frequency sounds. So if your child strangely runs off to their cell phone every now and then, you can bet they have a mosquito ringtone downloaded.
What’s all the buzz about?
Have you ever been in the same room as others when your phone rings? Then only to realize it’s not your phone, but someone else’s? Have you ever been on a train bored out of your mind, only wishing you had a cool game to play? Are you tired of your plain screen, and want to jazz it up a bit to match your personality? Well, that’s where logos come into play. As you can see, consumers are now personalizing their cell phones to suit their personality and lifestyle.
Why should I pay to download ringtones?
It’s definitely possible to create your own ringtone, but it’s an issue of convenience and having a large selection of mobile content at your disposal. Not only do you get ringtones, but you also get games, wallpapers, screensavers, logos and more for your mobile.
What software do you recommend for creating ringtones?
There are quite a few on the market, but one we have found to be very nice is Audio Tools by AVS Media. Here you can create custom ringtones and upload them to your mobile along with other advanced audio tools.
